Creating Community

Community has always played a big role in my career, whether it was in my role as Chairwoman of the West Hollywood Design District, Creative Director of Woven, or launching my boutique coaching & consulting firm GC Collaborative. I’ve really always been in the business of supporting creatives and creating community. 

It’s been a little over a year since I moved from Los Angeles, which was my home for 16 years, to NYC, and to say that moving to a new city at the beginning of a pandemic felt isolating would be an understatement.  And so, I have found myself, over the past year, looking for ways to create community and show up in support of the creatives that I admire so much.  

 As a result, I have found myself speaking to numerous groups online and on air.  In the past year I’ve created and led webinars with StyleRow, the ASID, the D&D Building, and the WithIT organization.  In addition, I’ve been featured on a number of podcasts including: A Well Designed Business, Next Career & Life, and StyleRow.
