Making Decisions From Fear

I have a client that once told me, “When I make decisions from fear, chaos ensues.”

As you can image this was a pattern that she was looking to break, and so the focus of our work became to come up with strategies that allowed her to instead make decisions that were grounded in her mission, vision, and values. It’s been amazing to watch the effect this work has had on her career. Within the last year she landed a HUGE commercial client, which was a direction she decided she wanted to take with her business. She let go of clients who were not valuing her work or willing to pay for it, and she gained a sense of freedom, leadership, and control that had been lacking.

“Before working with Ginna, the business was running me. I was not running the business. I have worked with consultants in the past, and Ginna is the only one who at the end of each call has been able to give me concrete tasks and information that has helped me and my business. Now things feel like they are in flow and I have fallen in love with my work again.”

What change would you like to see in your business in the coming year?

How is fear getting in the way of making that change?
