My Summer Working With Teams

My second summer in NY was undoubtedly an improvement from the first. New York has begun to feel alive again. There were people in the streets, restaurants overflowing with patrons, and I experienced a feeling of safety that was missing last year. I realize I have so much to be grateful for as this summer comes to a close, and I wanted to share the exciting work that I had the privilege of doing.

Earlier this summer, I was invited to create a two-part leadership series for the Women's Empowerment Group at NBC Universal. The goal was to speak to the group about Compassion, Leadership, and what most frequently gets in the way of their success. In addition, I led Leadership Workshops for the creative members of Soho House & Soho Works in NY and Los Angeles. I also had the great privilege of co-creating a panel discussion at HighPoint Market this June in partnership with Saurit Creative, sponsored by Universal Furniture. In addition, Universal was kind enough to include me in their podcast series.

Working with the leadership team at the Los Angeles-based hotel group Chateau Marmont was another dream come true. I took the team through a program that revealed each member's leadership strengths and weaknesses and gave them tools for better handling stressful situations when they arise. I also got to stay at the famous and fabulous hotel.

It is no secret that rugs are my favorite home decor category, so when the US-based sales team at Armadillo Rugs came knocking, I could not wait to get to work.

The group work has been incredibly fulfilling for me and certainly an area I realize that I want to focus on. Helping teams become 31% more effective, 3x more creative, and 20% more engaged at work gets me excited just thinking about it. So think about this for a moment; what would change for you and your organization if you could increase your best people's retention rate, decrease stress levels for you and your team members, and increase sales and client satisfaction in the process?

Whether you are leading a team of two or twenty, my driver is to help you overcome overwhelm, become a more impactful leader, and build a fully engaged team. Click here to find out more about how I can help.
